Customer Acknowledgement
By engaging Fuel ResQ, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You have requested Fuel ResQ to attend your vehicle following a misfuelling incident or contaminated fuel issue.
- You understand that placing the incorrect fuel into a vehicle may cause damage to the engine, fuel system and associated components.
- Fuel ResQ cannot determine the full extent of any existing damage prior to commencing work.
- Our service is designed to remove contaminated fuel and carry out the agreed roadside recovery procedure. It does not guarantee that pre-existing or misfuelling-related damage can be completely rectified.
Service Limitations
- 1.Fuel ResQ will perform the agreed service using industry-standard procedures and equipment.
- 2.In some circumstances additional repairs or workshop servicing may be required following our attendance.
- 3.Estimated arrival times are provided as a guide only and may vary due to traffic conditions, weather, emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances.
- 4.Fuel ResQ reserves the right to decline or discontinue a service where conditions are unsafe or beyond our operational capability.
Vehicle Condition
You acknowledge that:
- Any damage resulting from the incorrect fuel being added to the vehicle occurred prior to Fuel ResQ's attendance.
- Fuel ResQ is not responsible for damage caused by the original misfuelling event.
- If the vehicle has been driven after being misfuelled, additional engine or fuel system damage may already have occurred.
Vehicle Safety
Where our technician determines that a vehicle is unsafe or unroadworthy following inspection or service, we will advise you accordingly.
If towing or further repairs are required, it is your responsibility to arrange appropriate transport unless otherwise agreed.
Fuel ResQ accepts no liability where a customer chooses to continue driving against our advice.
Fuel Recovery & Disposal
- 1.Removed fuel will be disposed of in accordance with applicable Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) requirements and Dangerous Goods legislation.
- 2.Where practical and legally permitted, customers may request to retain recovered fuel.
- 3.Fuel will only be returned into approved containers that comply with relevant Australian Standards and applicable legislation.
- 4.Fuel ResQ reserves the right to refuse any request to retain recovered fuel where safety or environmental requirements cannot be met.

No Fix, No Fee Policy
Where advertised, Fuel ResQ's "No Fix, No Fee" policy applies only where:
- The vehicle's failure to start is directly related to the service performed by Fuel ResQ; and
- There are no unrelated mechanical, electrical or pre-existing faults preventing the vehicle from operating.
- This policy does not apply where inaccurate information has been provided or where other defects prevent the vehicle from starting.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Fuel ResQ's liability is limited to the value of the services supplied.
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential or incidental losses including loss of income, towing costs, accommodation expenses or loss of vehicle use.
